Chequamegon Bay

Come gather round lads And I'll tell you a tale
A tale of a land far away,
How ever I'm longing to walk once again,
On the shores of Chequamegon Bay

Chorus:

The whitecaps a' rolling And seagulls are calling
As evening is falling on Em'rald clear waters
Oh, carry me back to those days once again
On the shores of Chequamegon Bay

Grandpa's out driving his old pickup truck
A sparkle of dew on the hay
My grandma's a-tending her daisies in bloom
In the glow at the end of the day

Chorus:

A sliver of moonlight, the frost in the air
The snow upon ice silent lays
The winter winds blow as I look out the door
Of the house on Chequamegon Bay

Chorus:

The years fall behind me and memories fade
of times that have long passed away
Still in my mind I can always return
To the shores of Chequamegon Bay

Chorus:
